TCM is inviting CCV students on an experience for young adults over a two-month time period to discover, explore, and experience Christ’s Great Commission; to learn and to practice how to walk like Jesus did. Experience includes online interaction and a 10-day trip to Central Europe (Austria and Hungary [or Czech Republic]) from July 11-22, 2018.
This course contributes to the student’s understanding of God’s redemptive work for the world (Psalm 67:2-3) and the student’s individual involvement in the completion of that work (Matt. 28:19-20). Some people may be called to cross-cultural ministry, but all are called by God to be a witness in their context no matter their location or vocation. Registration first requires the application (2018 TCM GX STUDENT APPLICATION.pdf) to be submitted to LisaHorner@ccv.church by January 15, 2017.
$2,500 per student
1. By June 2018, the student must have completed their junior or senior year of high school.
2. Must complete a trip application including two reference letters and a final phone interview.
3. Must exemplify a high level of Christian maturity.
4. Must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4.
5. Must attend all pre-trip meetings hosted by CCV and TCM.
Do I need a passport?
A Valid passport is required for all participants. Passport cannot expire within 6 months of the trip's return date and cannot be damaged in any way. Please visit travel.state.gov for up to date information and to apply or renew.
Do I need to get any shots? Where can I get shots?
Please visit cdc.gov/travel for up to date vaccination requirements for your destination. All shots are recommended and not required. There are lots of great travel clinics in the valley to get your shots, so you can find one close and convenient for you.
Do I need a Visa? How do I get it?
A visa is not required for those who have a valid USA passport that doesn't require within 6 months.

We absolutely encourage fundraising. Very few people pay for the trip on their own. Number 1 way is to share this opportunity with your friends and family and ask them to participate with you by helping you get there!

This registration process will take about 10-20 minutes to fill out. Please allow enough time to complete the whole process which will include requiring current passport information and medical insurance information.
A $500 deposit non-refundable per person is required with this registration.
**Please be advised: It is CCV policy that a Volunteer application and Background Screening must be passed by every participant on this trip, age 16 and older. If you have any reason to believe you may not pass, please hold off on registering and placing your non-refundable deposit.
Terms and Conditions: By registering for this trip and paying the non-refundable deposit at this time, you are also committed to joining the team, attending the required team meetings, and paying the remainder of the cost of the trip before the trip's departure date. Failure to comply with these terms, completing the volunteer application process or attending Starting Point class gives CCV the freedom to ask you to not participate in the trip. The trip leader reserves the right to ask any participant to not participate if they feel the integrity of the trip is in jeopardy. If the trip participant backs out of the trip after airline tickets have been purchased in their name, they will still owe CCV for the cost of that ticket. If a participant is asked to end their trip early, they will travel home at their own cost.
