Bulembu, Swaziland Mission Trip 2017
CCV has a great opportunity to travel to the south of Africa to a work we helped begin in Bulembu, Swaziland in 2006. This is a nation ravaged by HIV/AIDS, with very low economy, that is benefiting greatly from enterprise and economy boosting business and HIV/AIDS awareness and treatment through organizations like Bulembu Ministries. Our team will visit, work alongside them, and catch the vision for more development that's underway.
Trip Dates: November 24 - December 4, 2017
Trip Leaders: Scott and Nancy Coughlin
Team Size: 20 people will be our goal
Registration will open on Sunday, February 5 and Deadline will be July 15 at midnight or when it fills up.
What will we be doing? This trip is designed to allow us the privilege of witnessing the work and serving alongside Bulembu Ministries in the child/orphan care, Christian academy and clinic. We'll spend days with the local men and women who are working hard to transform their community. Specific itinerary will be determined in the few weeks before the trip. Flexibility is key!
Who can go?
Age limit is 18. Background check is required for all participants as well as Attendance at CCV's Starting Point class and a volunteer screening application.
Participants should be in good physical condition as there will be an active itinerary and lots of walking. Don't underestimate this.
Where do we stay?
We will stay in local lodge where they will prepare meals for us also. We'll use Double Rooms as much as possible and pair you with a roommate.
We will require a color photo copy of your valid passport. CCV will book all group travel for the team and no deviations will be granted. The team will travel together and stay together from Phoenix back to Phoenix.
What’s the cost?
The cost for the trip is $3,000
This includes: International airfare, lodging, transportation in country, and meals while in country. This also covers a medical insurance we provide for trip participants and any project supplies.

**All travel arrangements will be made through GO360 and the team will travel together and stay together the whole trip.
** Please note: The airfare cost is subject to change until flights are ticketed (due to unpredictable fuel costs, airlines costs can fluctuate).

We absolutely encourage personal fundraising. Very few people pay for the trip on their own.
•Number 1 way is to send support letters. Tell your friends and family about the trip, share with them the ministry, and ask them to donate.
•Number 2 way is to put in some hard work and do garage sales and car washes, get together with other team members to make a bigger impact. You will talk about this when you get together as a team.
•Any donations made to CCV for your trip are tax deductible for the donor if they give online or follow the instructions on the Covenant Form.
