Dearborn, Michigan - July - Mission Trip

CCV is proud to partner with our mission partners in Dearborn, Michigan aimed at outreach to the large population of Arab-American, Muslim immigrants. Through relationships and community service, and direct spiritual conversations, the team envisions a city transformed. We will be strategic in bringing what we learn to influence our growing population of international immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees.

Who can go?

  • This trip is for those desiring to learn and understand the people and culture of Islam and the unique opportunity we have to influence others for Christ.
  • This trip is for anyone who desires to be trained in sharing the Gospel, church planting, and personal evangelism strategies.
  • Participants must be 18 years or older. Minors aged 16-17 will only be allowed WITH a parent or guardian.
  • Participants need to be in good health. There will be lots of walking.

What are the requirements to go?

  • Attend CCV's Starting Point class (if you haven't already been)
  • Complete a CCV Missions background check.
  • Each team member will also be required to attend all pre-trip preparation meetings as determined by your trip leader.

Trip Cost: $1200 per person
Included in this fee: Airfare from Phoenix to Detroit, accommodations, transportation and meals while on the trip. This fee also covers medical insurance, luggage fees, and pre-trip materials.
Not included: Any personal spending money for meals during travel and souvenirs.

$200 deposit per person is non-refundable at the time of registration. If a cancellation is made after airline tickets have been purchased you will be responsible for the cost of the ticket.

Terms and Conditions: By registering for this trip and paying the non-refundable deposit of $100 at this time, you are also committed to joining the team, attending the required team meetings, and paying the remainder of the cost of the trip before the trip's departure date. Failure to comply with these terms, completing the volunteer application process or attending the trainings gives CCV the freedom to ask you to not participate in the trip. The trip leader reserves the right to ask any participant to not participate if they feel the integrity of the trip is in jeopardy. If the trip participant backs out of the trip after airline tickets have been purchased in their name, they will still owe CCV for the cost of that ticket. If a participant is asked to end their trip early, they will travel home at their own cost.
