Rocky Point Family Trip, February - 1MISSION - Mission Trip

This trip with 1MISSION is a great way to serve our neighbors as they build their own community. Families in Rocky Point have been serving their community and engaging with the local church and have earned a new, safe home for their family. Our teams get the opportunity to go down and build alongside of them.

Trip dates: Friday, February 16th through Monday, February 19, 2024. You decide what time you will depart Phoenix on Friday and you will be home Monday around dinner time.

Registration deadline:  February 2, 2024 at midnight.  

What is the cost?  $375.00 per adult (18+yrs);  $180.00 per student (12-17 yrs old) traveling with a parent/guardian; and $45.00 for children age 11 and under (children 5 and older are recommended, however younger children are welcome with supervision- no daycare will be provided) 

This fee includes: Meals while at 1Mission- Saturday breakfast through Monday Lunch (Friday dinner is on your own); building materials for the house, utility expenses while at Basecamp. 

Transportation: You are responsible to transport yourself down to the 1Mission basecamp. Each vehicle is required to have Mexico Auto Insurance, you can contact your Insurance provider for more information or you can contact Kirk Borg at kirk@agapeinsurancepartners.com

Passports:  For adults and children 16 and up, a passport or passport card. For children under 15 and under traveling with a parent a Birth Certificate is required.  For more information you can visit this website: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/western-hemisphere-travel-initiative 

COVID-19 - At this time, all restrictions have been lifted in the town of Puerto Peñasco, as well as at base camp. However, this is still a fluid situation and is subject to change. Trip participants will be notified before the trip if they need to take special precautions. 

Lodging Options: You will be staying at a clean and safe (gated) RV park, the 1Mission basecamp that is about 8 miles outside of Rocky Point proper.  Click here to view Basecamp

    Facilities include a dining room, bbq area, pool, and showers.

Each participant is responsible for their own sleeping arrangements at Basecamp - RV Trailer, sleeping Tent, or reserving a Bunk in the Bunkhouse. We discourage trip participants from staying in Rocky Point at a hotel or other home. In order to get to full experience of the trip and be a part of the team, we ask everyone to stay at basecamp with the team.  You can reserve an RV spot for an additional $30.00 for the weekend, this includes full hook ups.  If you wish to stay in the bunk room there is an additional charge of $15.00 per person for the weekend. Tent sites are also available at no extra charge.

Terms and Conditions: By registering for this trip and paying the fee at this time, you are also committed to joining the team, attending the required team meeting. Failure to comply with these terms gives CCV the freedom to ask you to not participate in the trip. The trip leader reserves the right to ask any participant to not participate if they feel the integrity of the trip is in jeopardy.
